Summer@Baldwin Summer Camp is hiring a camp sports coordinator to join our fun filled day camp!
This position will start June 10th, The person in this position must be able to commit to the seven weeks of camp.
Our camp runs Monday through Friday 9:00am to 3:30pm from June 17th-August 2nd, 2024.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver a camp sports program that is appropriate for the ages and abilities of campers grades Pre-K-8th
- Write and submit lesson plans for sports activities to the Camp Director at least one week in advance
- Enforce safety and educational procedures during sporting events with campers and staff
- Inventory sports equipment, submit order requests when necessary, and ensure all sports equipment and spaces are clean and organized
- Provide programming assistance for camp-wide, themed activities
- Participate in camp activities, programs and meetings, including staff meetings
- All other duties as assigned
Requirements: Must be at least twenty (20) years of age, High school or equivalent (College Degree Preferred)
- 3-4 years playing and/or coaching organized sports
- Experience working with children and young adults
- Experiences planning and teaching sports activities and curriculum
Duration: Eight Weeks June 10th - August 2nd Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 3:30pm
