What are the responsibilities and job description for the Seasonal Tax Support Specialist position at The Bonadio Group?
We are currently seeking a Seasonal Tax Support Specialist to support our Tax Service Line in our Albany, New York location from August 2025 - October 2025. This individual will work closely with the tax team to set up new clients, project templates and complete tasks. Responsibilities Management of CCH Axcess Cloud Tax and Accounting Software Lead conversion process from CCH Workstream to Axcess Workflow Set up new clients, project templates and tasks consistent across the Tax and Small Business Advisory practices Ensure client references in Star system match client IDs in Axcess Workflow Compile data analysis reports from Axcess Workflow Ability to suggest integration with other current software such as Star Work collaboratively with Information Technology team. Ensure the use of standard client file sharing systems (SafeSend & SharePoint client portals) are used with consistency Work with Tax and Small Business Advisory administrative assistants and staff to provide training on the effective use of software Qualifications Required Minimum of three years of experience working with XCM (now Axcess Workflow) Minimum of two years of experience working with SafeSend delivery of tax returns Proficiency working with Microsoft Office Suite Ability to recognize opportunities for improvement of automating manual tasks and processes to ensure a better employee experience The salary range for this opportunity is between $19.00 to $20.00 per hour. Hours of Operation Our office hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Our summer hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and 8:00 a.m. to noon on Friday.
