Salary:
Starting at $20.00 per hour (Non-Exempt)
About the Position:
The Staff Accountant/Assistant is responsible for a multitude of accounting department task included but not limited to accounts payable processing/coding, spreadsheet analysis, filing, accounts receivable coding, providing billing information for budgeting and reporting purposes.
A Typical Day as a Staff Accountant/Assistant:
- Prepare and code accounts payable invoices for payment.
- Proof and correct A/P edit listing and double check amount on checks.
- Accounts receivable coding
- Filing of payable and receivable documents.
- Track and analyze all accounts as assigned.
- Prepare invoices and journal entries as necessary.

Does the Following Apply to You?
- Associates Degree or High School Diploma with 3 years of experience
- Accounting Experience (preferred)
Additional Qualifications:
- Completion of DCFS criminal background check and fingerprinting
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Obtain an insured vehicle
- At least three years of driving experience with a valid driver's license
