NJ Outside Sales Intern Fall 2024

The Commencement Group is looking to hire Outside Sales Interns for Fall 2024. Our fall season takes place during the weekends in December and is much smaller than our Spring season. Outside sales refers to the type of sales that take place in the field (i.e. graduations).

Qualifications:

• Availability throughout December (12/5-8, 12/12-15*, 12/19-22*)
• Interested in working our Spring season next May & June
• Valid driver's license
• Provide own means of transportation to our office
• Freshman, sophomore or junior in college
• Open to traveling for extended periods of time
• Comfortable with driving and traveling
• Reliable and responsible
• Discipline to wake up early
• Stamina to work consecutively long days
• Organizational skills
• Effective member of a team
• Contribute towards sales goals

Responsibilities:

• Traveling throughout your region to sell various commemorative items at commencements
• Utilizing sales techniques to effectively execute sales
• Working as a team to generate revenue and hitting sales goals
• Setting up retail kiosks at commencements 
• Organizing and maintaining inventory of products at kiosks throughout the day
• Understanding and implementing the marketing of products
• Maintaining our company brand and professional demeanor on-site

Financial:

• Hourly pay of $17/hour
• Discretionary bonus for hitting sales goals
