Cypress & Oak, the restaurant at The Delegate Hotel is hiring for an Expo/Food Runner!
Front-of-house staff is friendly, courteous, helpful, timely, and works in a professional manner resulting in a very high level of guest satisfaction. As a member of the front-of-house team, you'll create memorable experiences for our guests.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Essential functions include but are not limited to the following:
- Verify orders before taking it to the table to ensure guests are receiving the correct order.
- Organize food tickets for the chefs.
- Performs opening and closing responsibilities in a timely and detailed manner.
- Answers guest questions about food preparation details and communicates specific guest needs to the kitchen.
- Knows and can answer all general and allergen related food menus questions
- Uphold sanitation and food safety standards.
- Attends pre-shift meeting to review/communicate information regarding service, VIP's, Specials.
- Ensure guests have all necessary tableware, condiments, and other items to properly enjoy their food.
- Maintains a positive guest experience with effective communication of all guest recovery situations while documenting such occurrences to the MOD.
- Performs basic cleaning tasks as needed or instructed by management.
- Assists and supports team members, as necessary.
- Other duties as assigned.
Skills and Experience:
- Demonstrates knowledge and ability to execute restaurant standards.
- Restaurant experience preferred.
- Must have a positive attitude.
- 1 Year of customer service experience.
