- Develops and executes the plan to successfully start up the initiative – including staffing/resourcing, success criteria, preproduction management, scheduling, and team work processes.
- Coordinates with Supply Network (Engineering, R&D/GPDD, MPO, QA, Operations, Logistics, etc) to develop and integrate multi-functional plans that will lead to a successful project delivery.
- Utilizes, continuously improves, and builds capability in the Launch work processes and tools including GSUM, CQV, and TT&T. Owns the Leadership and Org sections of the DWS Checklist.
- VoM for the Technology. Key Global interface with GTO
- Manufacturing Capability for new Initiatives
- Is the Voice of manufacturing (VoM).
- Holds the cross functional interface.
- Ensures Integration of the Initiative Plan into Site Masterplan.
- Drives Feedback to Design/Project Loss Analysis.
- Sets VSU Plan.
- Defines and owns the Pre-Production Budget
- Knowledge and integration to the DWS pillars is critical to avoid that old standards will be integrated during initiatives.
- Leadership skill to coach the launch Start-up Leaders
- EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE / CERTIFICATIONS
- Required Degree Bachelors in Engineering
- Statistical Process Control and Six Sigma tool knowledge and demonstrated use of tools is preferred.
- A demonstrated ability to lead teams or project endeavors in and out of the work- place.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office software is required.
