What are the responsibilities and job description for the Community Engagement Coordinator position at The Eastern Iowa Airport?
Manages/influences the social media and community engagement activities for CID in order to articulate the strategic plan purpose statement and amplify brand awareness and loyalty throughout the region through the creative development and implementation of events/activities, social media engagement, website management, and sponsorships, highlighting this region and the destinations served by airlines at CID. This position reports to the Director of Marketing and Communications and may assist with other marketing efforts as required. The normal work schedule is 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday with the ability to work flexible hours to include nights, weekends, and holidays as required to support special events. Salary DOE $21.59/hr.
Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Journalism, Communications, or related field; and two years of experience preferred in the areas outlined. Social media photography and video skills highly preferred; or Equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the knowledge and abilities necessary to perform the work.
