ESTEE LAUDER COMPANIES & FARMINGDALE STATE COLLEGE APPLIED LEARNING PROGRAM ELIGIBILITY AND APPLICATION PROCESS
Estée Lauder Companies (ELC) and Farmingdale State College partnered together to create an Applied Learning Program that provides STEM students with real-life work experience in our Research and Development (R&D) function.
Fall 2025 Program Overview
This four-month-long Applied Learning Program allows you to explore a career and gain paid work experience while earning your college degree. During this program, you'll be a part-time ELC employee. Your manager will provide training, projects, and guidance.
Below is a list of the seven opportunities available.
Lab Technician, Microbiology located on Campus at the Bioscience Building
Lab Technician, Business Continuity Lab located on Campus at the Bioscience Building
Lab Technician, Special Analytical Services located at ELC 125 Pinelawn Rd Office
Lab Technician, Product Formulation – Makeup located at ELC 125 Pinelawn Rd Office
Lab Technician, Package Testing located at the Engineering Technical Center
Lab Technician, Manufacturing Engineering located at the Engineering Technical Center
Intern, Global Regulatory Affairs located at 155 Greenway Plaza
Qualifications
ELIGIBILITY:
Undergraduate students must be enrolled in school
Must have lab experience
Excellent communication skills (written & verbal).
Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks
Duration Of Internships
August 25 – December 20, 2025
Flexible hours
Paid Part-time opportunity (will not exceed 20 hours per week)

The Applied Learning Program is managed by Estée Lauder Companies. Applicants will have to complete an application via Taleo. A completed application does not guarantee a spot in the program.
