What are the responsibilities and job description for the Attorney | Temporary position at The Ford Agency?
The Ford Agency is currently recruiting for a long term Contract Attorney for a growing regulatory association. This is a terrific role for an up-and-coming Associate with 1 years of experience who is currently barred in DC and looking to gain more experience in contracts.
Responsibilities Include:
- Review and analyze 500 contracts per year
- Review agreements and research legal issues related to privacy laws
- Assist General Counsel with all corporate legal functions
- Assist with other special projects
Qualifications Include:
- J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school
- Admission to the DC Bar
- 1 years of experience in Contracts
- Background in privacy law preferred
- Proficiency with e-discovery tools and knowledge of e-discovery procedures and resources
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability interact with different constituencies (other attorneys, clients, courtroom officials)
Only candidates who are based in the DC, MD, or VA area or have independent plans for relocation will be considered.
