What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Accountant | Temporary position at The Ford Agency?
The Ford Agency is actively recruiting for a Senior Accountant to join an education-focused non-profit. This individual will play a key role in managing all the organization's day-to-day and back-end financial and accounting functions. This is a fantastic opportunity for a self-starter with a CPA and previous experience working in a non-profit setting. This is a temporary opportunity with strong potential for converting to a permanent role!
Responsibilities Include:
- Oversee all accounts and ledgers to ensure compliance with federal and regulatory requirements
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly reconciliation for bank and investment accounts
- Coordinate all audit activity and provide analysis and reporting to leadership
- Assist with the annual budget planning
- Manage all grant accounting, budgeting, and reporting
Qualifications Include:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, active CPA required
- 3 years of accounting experience required
- Experience with NetSuite and Salesforce
- Knowledge of federal grant processes and compliance
- Proficiency in Spanish, a plus
