We are a national staffing firm and are currently seeking a Chemist for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in West Point, PA. Details for the position are as follows:
Job Description:
**Monday-Friday 8am-5pm (1 hour break)**
- Under the direction of a more senior staff member, carries out routine testing (assay/impurity) on sterile pharmaceutical products in supply.
- Candidates should have a sound basic knowledge on chromatographic techniques and the ability to apply fundamental principles and techniques to the problems assigned.
- Needs to work quickly and efficiently, while obtaining high quality data.
- Experience with HPLC, Empower, and GMP testing is required.
- Applicants with known allergic reaction to Beta-Lactam should not apply for this position.
- Empower and GMP testing experience are required to be considered for this role.
Qualifications:
- BS/MS
- GMP experience
- Empower HPLC experience required
Compensation: $22-35 an hour depending on experience
