Duration : 12 months (Possible Extensions)

Bill Rate : $25-30 / hr

Location : Remote (MUST be comfortable supporting EST hours)

Job Summary :

The Compliance Specialist will support regulatory compliance efforts for Pets Best, ensuring policies, procedures, and products align with regulatory standards. This role involves working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to address compliance-related matters.

Key Responsibilities :

• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards across policies, procedures, and products.
• Build relationships with regulators and partners, responding to inquiries, surveys, and audits.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external resources to enforce compliance across the organization.
• Address compliance-related questions, complaints, and incidents.
• Manage timelines and deliverables, analyze potential risks, and communicate impact to management.
• Assist with documenting processes and identifying areas for improvement.
• Represent the organization in compliance matters with regulators and other entities.
• Escalate issues as needed within the department.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
