TIBCO Integration Engineer

Pay: ~$80/hr.

Duration: 6-month assignment to start, with possible extension(s)

Location: ONSITE! (Waukegan, IL.)

Job Summary:

This role involves the design, development, testing, and support of application programming systems. The ideal candidate will contribute to both the creation of new systems and the enhancement of existing programs, working within a team to deliver reliable and efficient software solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Develops, designs, tests, and assists in the preparation, evaluation, and implementation of client application programming/systems solutions, supporting both new and existing programs.
• Participates as a technical team member in the design, programming, and testing of system projects and enhancements within a specific functional area.
• Provides day-to-day support, including problem resolution and coordination of operational activities, such as job scheduling.
• Researches and evaluates alternative solutions, making recommendations for improved system operations, control, or enhanced business function.
• Formulates logical statements of business requirements with some guidance, devising, testing, and implementing efficient, cost-effective application program solutions (e.g., codes and/or reuses existing code through the use of program development software alternatives or integrates purchased solutions).
• Devises data verification methods and standard system procedures, participates in systems testing, prepares program test data, tests, and debugs programs.
• Ensures compliance with applicable policies and procedures.
• In specialized systems (e.g., TIBCO), effectively sets options to change the way the program functions (configuration responsibilities).
• Works under general supervision, with work reviewed for soundness of technical judgment and overall results.
• Independently conceives and develops general approaches to the solution of systems problems, applying basic technical principles.

Educational Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (3-5 years.)

• TIBCO BW 5.14.0 / BW 5.15
• TIBCO Adapter upgrade from 7.2.X / 7.3.X
• TIBCO EMS 8.5.1
• TIBCO SAP adapter and File adapter
• HP UX / SuSe Linux

Preferred Skills:

• TIBCO BW 6.3.5 and above
• TIBCO BW CE 2.5.0 and above
