Chief Marketing Officer – Luxury Brand

A fast-growing, founder-led luxury lifestyle brand based in Los Angeles is seeking a strategic and hands-on Chief Marketing Officer to lead the next phase of growth.
We are looking for a seasoned marketing leader with a passion for luxury and a proven track record of building premium brands. The ideal candidate is both analytical and creative, with strong leadership skills, a collaborative mindset, and an ability to blend high-level strategy with daily execution. You’ll oversee a nimble marketing and e-commerce team, partnering closely with the CEO and executive leadership to define and drive customer acquisition, retention, and brand elevation initiatives.
This role requires someone who thrives in an entrepreneurial environment, brings clarity and calm under pressure, and understands the nuances of building a high-touch brand with long-term resonance. This is a full-time, in-office role, Monday through Friday, based in Los Angeles.
Key Responsibilities
Brand & Strategic Leadership
Define and refine the overall marketing strategy in alignment with company goals and brand vision
Lead and grow a high-performing internal team and agency partners
Serve as a strategic partner to the CEO and executive team on growth initiatives and market expansion
Balance creativity with a strong data- and results-driven approach to decision-making
Brand Marketing & Storytelling
Deepen customer affinity through compelling storytelling, partnerships, and digital content
Ensure brand consistency across all consumer touchpoints—web, packaging, social, email, influencer, PR, retail, and experiential
Translate brand values into differentiated and memorable customer experiences
Growth & Performance Marketing
Oversee full-funnel marketing strategies including paid media, SEO, lifecycle/CRM, and affiliate programs
Own and optimize the marketing budget with a clear focus on ROI and efficient customer acquisition
Leverage testing frameworks and attribution modeling to continuously refine performance
Digital & E-Commerce
Collaborate with e-commerce and product teams to drive site performance, customer engagement, and conversion
Lead strategy across owned digital channels—email, SMS, and website content
Partner with key platforms and agencies to increase visibility, traffic, and sales
Influencer, PR & Community
Develop and execute thoughtful influencer and ambassador strategies
Partner with external agencies to amplify brand awareness through PR efforts
Drive community engagement through events, collaborations, and brand-building partnerships
Qualifications
10 years of marketing leadership experience, ideally within luxury, fashion, beauty, or lifestyle sectors
Proven success scaling direct-to-consumer and omnichannel brands
Strong command of performance marketing, brand strategy, and lifecycle marketing
A creative sensibility paired with strong business and financial acumen
Exceptional leadership and communication skills; hands-on and collaborative
Comfortable in a fast-moving, founder-led, high-growth environment
Sharp eye for aesthetics and storytelling that resonates with a discerning audience
Passion for design, craftsmanship, and purpose-driven brand building
Compensation & Details
Salary is commensurate with experience and includes potential for additional incentives. This position is in-office Monday through Friday and based in Los Angeles.
