The Cage Fab production worker is responsible for assisting in all areas of production of the steel cages required for our pre-cast concrete operations. They will follow instructions of the Lead person to ensure that all pieces are being build to blueprint specifications.
We are currently seeking co-workers to join our 1st shift team in our Cage Fabrication production area with a start time of 6:00AM, Monday-Friday.
Positions start at $20.00/hour.
Daily Responsibilities:
- Reviews prints with attention to detail
- Sets up prints using a tape measure
- Fabricates steel bars into cages
- Learn steel mesh cutting and bending operations
- Operates the Lenton Machine
Our next team-member will ideally possess the following educational and work qualifications:
- A high school diploma or general equivalent (GED)
- Basic math & measurement skills needed as well as knowledge of various hand, power & measurement tools
- Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work within a team environment are critical
- Prior concrete and/or construction experience is helpful, but not required
- Familiarity with reading blueprints a plus!
