Position Title : Environmental Health & Safety Supervisor

Job Type : Full Time, Direct Hire

Location : Conyers, GA

Compensation : $75,000 - $83,000 base salary, depending on experience 7-10.5% annual bonus

Overview :

We are seeking an Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Supervisor to lead and support Environmental, Health, and Safety initiatives at our Conyers, GA facility. This role focuses on changing the safety culture of the facility, emphasizing environmental ISO standards, workplace safety, accident investigation, and root cause analysis. The ideal candidate will bring experience in both environmental and workplace safety programs and will adopt a hands-on, floor-based approach to improving practices and ensuring compliance. Familiarity with ISO14001 standards and strong investigative skills are preferred.

Key Responsibilities :

• Enhance safety and environmental practices across the facility, focusing on accident prevention and regulatory compliance.
• Oversee environmental compliance, with an emphasis on ISO14001 standards (preferred but not required).
• Conduct safety audits, incident investigations, and root cause analyses (RCA).
• Develop and implement Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs) for risk assessments.
• Lead safety initiatives, including monthly committee meetings and creating learning plans via Alchemy.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and other relevant EHS regulations (e.g., 29 CFR 1910).
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of safety and environmental activities and incidents.
• Drive sustainability efforts by implementing waste minimization strategies.
• Strengthen emergency preparedness plans and procedures.
