The Horsham Clinic serves Southeastern Pennsylvania and New Jersey. We provide comprehensive behavioral health services to children, adolescents, adults, and their families. Programs and services are located on the main campus in Ambler, Pennsylvania, as well as satellite day hospital programs in Pennsylvania, Delaware County, and Chester County. What You’ll Do (Position Description)
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Masters Level Group Counselor to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in clinical counseling and case management, with the ability to provide support and guidance to individuals facing various challenges. The Counselor will work collaboratively with clients to develop effective treatment plans, utilizing evidence-based practices and therapeutic techniques. This role is essential in fostering a supportive environment for personal growth and development.
- Conduct individual and group counseling sessions to address client needs.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on client assessments.
- Provide crisis management support to clients in urgent situations.
- Engage in case management activities, including documentation and progress tracking.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
- Utilize applied behavior analysis techniques when working with individuals on the autism spectrum.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in all interactions.
- Participate in ongoing research and professional development to enhance counseling practices.
What We Want to See from You! (Job Requirements/Preferred Skills)
- Masters degree in Psychology, Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field is required.
- Experience in clinical counseling, particularly with special education or autism spectrum disorders, is preferred.
- Familiarity with coding for mental health services is a plus.
- Strong skills in crisis management and patient care are essential.
- Proven ability to conduct research related to therapeutic practices and client outcomes.
