Summary:

The IS Technical Specialist provides technical and consultative support on the most complex technical matters. 

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Research, Design, develop, integrate, enhance and support service oriented application system projects and using Service Oriented Architecture (SOA).
• Develop technical designs based on functional requirements. Analyze, design and develop integration layer of SOA stack to provide technical solutions based upon user specs to support financial service lines.
• Perform unit testing and integration of layers based on WebSphere SOA stack.
• Research and resolve problems that occur in production environments

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree
• 5 years of professional experience in the IT field.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Fluent with modern version of Java and have used it in wide backend applications. Strong experience in J2EE technologies.

• Strong experience in IBM - DataPower ,IIB, Java, Spring Framework, Web services (REST/SOAP), Spring Boot / Micro Services with Angular.

• Experience in Swagger, Maven, Eclipse, Jenkins, GIT, Postman/Newman.

• Exposure to Cloud (AWS/GCP) is a plus

• A banking industry background is a plus

  Strong analytical, troubleshooting and communication skills

• Microsoft Office experience 
• Experience working in multi-platform environment
• Ability to balance both development and support roles
• Experience in working on projects that involve business segments
• Strong analytical, strong troubleshooting skills and excellent communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills, focus on customer service, and the ability to work well with other IT, vendor, and business groups

Exempt Status: (Yes = not eligible for overtime pay) (No = eligible for overtime pay)
