What’s the Opportunity?
We're expanding our team and seeking a Fuel Pricing Strategy Specialist to set and execute daily fuel pricing across 300 convenience centers. This role is central to market competitiveness and margin optimization. You’ll collaborate across operations, supply, and leadership teams to enhance fueling strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Define, socialize, and continuously refine the company-wide fuel pricing strategy.
- Monitor competitor pricing, regional market trends, store-level performance metrics, and KPIs to inform daily price decisions.
- Conduct periodic field visits to assess market dynamics and competitive activity.
- Build and maintain strong relationships across Operations, Supply Chain, and Logistics teams.
- Report performance results to senior leadership, including action plans for underperforming stores.
- Manage the full pricing workflow—from gathering data to analysis and execution.
- Introduce, manage, and leverage pricing tools and analytics platforms.
- Travel up to 10% as needed.
What We’re Looking For
- 5 years' experience in high-volume, low-margin commodity or petroleum pricing (multi-site experience preferred).
- Proven analytical skills—comfortable with Excel and reporting tools.
- Strong communicator, both written and verbal, with ability to collaborate across departments.
- Adaptable thinker—capable of working through ambiguity and solving complex problems.
- Business acumen in fast-paced environments; understanding of fraud indicators and data controls.
- Self‑motivated, organized, and detail-oriented.
Preferred:
- Spanish language proficiency is a plus.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree from accredited institution (or equivalent combination of education and experience in fuel or retail pricing).
Compensation
- Salary Range: $90,000–$100,000 USD annually
