Responsibilities
- Act as the main point of contact for clients, working to understand their insurance needs and providing tailored solutions
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, insurance carriers, and internal teams
- Review and analyze commercial insurance policies to ensure coverage meets clients' requirements
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and guidelines to provide informed advice to clients
- Collaborate with underwriters to negotiate terms and conditions for clients’ insurance programs
- Handle policy renewals, endorsements, and claims to ensure seamless client experience
- Proven experience in commercial insurance account management
- Strong understanding of commercial insurance products and coverages
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Proficiency in industry-specific software and Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Holds an active P&C (Property and Casualty) License
- Previous commercial lines experience in an independent agency setting – required
