LEMOINE is looking for a Technology Support Analyst. The Technology Support Analyst serves as a central point to receive requests for assistance from users to resolve problems with hardware or software applications diagnose and determine the level of severity and take independent action to resolve problems. Responsible for level 1 hardware and software support, basic account management, and assisting remote users with VPN issues. Assist with network changes and upgrades. Setup new pc's/laptops and assist new hires with logging in and obtaining appropriate access. Update documentation to record new equipment installed and changes to the computer.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the system administrator with setting up desktop computers and laptops with the firm's standard operating environment.
- Setup phones, tablets, and communication devices.
- Troubleshoot desktop issues such as printer connectivity, blue screens, and peripheral functionality.
- Instruct desktop users how to connect to companies' applications.
- Provide basic email and telecom support and escalate when necessary.
- Help maintain and track inventory of all IT-related devices (i.e. – laptops, desktops, monitors, etc.).
- Work on projects associated with desktop support related tasks (i.e. – rolling out
- OS/software upgrades, new products, office moves, etc.).
Required Qualifications:
- Outstanding troubleshooting skills.
- Experience in assembling/disassembling computer hardware and components.
- Understanding of TCP/IP networking.
- Basic knowledge of wireless networking.
- Experience with software installations with desktop applications such as Microsoft Office and Adobe products.
- Ability to work independently when assigned a task and follow it through to completion.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work well with others.
Education and Experience Guidelines:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- College credit in Computer Science or MIS preferred
- Certifications in A , ITIL, MCSA or HDI-CSR preferred
