DIRECTOR OF PROHEALTH
Position Summary: This position reports to MHCGM’s Chief Operating Officer. The ProHealth Director is responsible for program oversight and administrative supervision of all ProHealth staff and together with Primary Care Provider provides clinical supervision of direct service providers.
Background: ProHealth NH is the result of a partnership between The Mental Health Center of Greater Manchester and Amoskeag Health. The purpose of ProHealth NH is to proactively improve the health and wellness of young people 12 and older with Severe Emotional Disturbance (SED), Severe Mental Illness (SMI), and/or primary Substance Use Disorder in Manchester, New Hampshire.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee the expansion, function, and sustainability of the ProHealth Program.
- Coordinate full implementation of the ProHealth program across partner agencies.
- Represent the agency and program at community, state, and federal levels.
- Collaborate with the Revenue Cycle Management and Accounting departments regarding budget of ProHealth Program.
- Recruit participates into the ProHealth Program.
- Supervise, coach, and provide guidance to supervisees.
- Monitor and ensure regulatory compliance of project protocols and service delivery.
- Oversee data collection and performance measurement of ProHealth initiative.
Requirements
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Advanced communication and writing skills.
- Strong management and leadership skills.
- Experience in field of behavioral health and knowledge of psychiatric illness and treatment of complex youth and young adult patients with medical comorbidities, substance use disorders, tobacco cessation, and behavioral health care change issues.
- Demonstrated cultural competence and knowledge/experience in meeting patients’ communication access needs.
- Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
Education: Master’s Degree in Social Work, psychology, counseling psychology, or related clinical field.
Experience: Two years of management level experience in an integrated primary and behavioral health care setting, or an equivalent combination of skills and experience.
Qualifications: Licensed or license eligible in the State of NH.
