Job Description:
Fast-paced, busy medical office has an opening for an experienced full-time office support specialist, providing support to the Bedford Counseling Associate and Medication Services programs. A person is responsible for completing a variety of tasks associated with a patient’s medical record, including data entry within our EMR, opening and closing patient’s records and processing associated paperwork, monitoring a variety of reports, and is a resource to staff around medical records processes. Prior office and computer experience a must. Experience with an Electronic Medical Record is a plus. Candidate must possess excellent communication and organizational skills with the capacity to multi-task. Full-time, 40 hours, Monday through Friday 7:30 to 4:30.
Requirements
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Must have excellent communication skills.
- Proven organizational skills, an ability to multi-task, and data entry proficiency.
- Computer experience, attention to detail, and confidentiality are a must.
- Answer and route incoming phone calls to ensure that programs are represented professionally.
- Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
Qualifications:
Computer experience: Microsoft Office, Excel, and experience with an Electronic Medical Record preferred.
Education:
The position requires a minimum of a High School diploma.
Experience:
Three-plus years of office experience is a plus.
Licensure/Certification:
Job Type: Full-time, 40 hours per week.
