We are currently looking to hire an Employee Experience Specialist to work primarily remotely but may come on site a few times a month in Washington D.C. This job is paying $35.00 p/h and is for 35 hours a week.

Expectations:
The Employee Experience Specialist will report to the Director of Learning and Development in Human Resources and is expected to collaborate with members of the HR team and other key partners to ideate, design, coordinate, and/or manage onsite and virtual employee social events, plan and implement programs, design resources and draft communication to increase engagement, connection, a sense of belonging, and fun.
Responsibilities include providing administrative, logistical, and project management support to HR leaders for employee experience related programming:
- Assist with scheduling meetings with colleagues
- Coordinate logistics for planning meetings and record/maintain meeting minutes and materials for group convenings as needed
- Collaborate with key partners to design, coordinate, and execute employee events and programs (onsite and virtual)
- Collaborate with key partners to create resources and implement activities aimed at improving the onboarding experience (from offer through first 90 days)
- Help oversee a monthly onsite Collaboration Day to ensure it goes smoothly and is a positive experience for the employees who choose to attend
Skills needed:
- 2 years of experience in Human Resources, Talent Management, Talent Acquisition, or a related field
- Strong interest in helping to create consistently positive employee experiences and influencing employee engagement
- Ability to design PowerPoint slide decks and create simple visual graphics
- Onsite and/or virtual event planning and facilitation skills a plus
- Instructional design and development skills a plus
- Strong collaboration, project management, and communication skills
- Agile, nimble, and able to execute cross functional projects to deliver results
- Ability to work independently
