Primary Purpose
The Mid-Level Funding Supervisor shall serve The Navigators and fulfill the responsibilities listed below in the spirit of The Navigators calling, values and purpose: To advance the Gospel of Jesus and His kingdom into the nations through spiritual generations of laborers living and discipling among the lost.
This position is responsible for supervising the Mid-Level (ML) Representatives I and II. The ML Supervisor also trains and coaches the ML Representatives I and II and provides support to the ML Manager.
Essential Functions
Mid-Level Team Funding – 50%
Spiritual: Belief in and adherence to the Statement of Faith and Mission of The Navigators. Knowledge of Navigator missions, ministries, and networks preferred.
Experience: At least three years of experience in a similar Development role. At least one year of supervisory experience.
Technical Knowledge & Skills: Microsoft Office proficiency.
Communication & Leadership: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills including verbal & written, to create understanding and build strong working relationships required.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in business management or college coursework / equivalent experience preferred.
Compensation Range: $22.87 - $35.78

Essential Functions
Mid-Level Team Funding – 50%
- Works with the ML Manager to prepare Mid-Level program and participate in the annual fundraising budgeting process.
- Works with ML Manager to implement team strategies/tactics designed to meet or exceed ML program annual budget.
- Implements strategies/tactics to lift ministry partners to Major Donor level and coordinates with the Ministry Partner Advisor Team to transition qualified ministry partners effectively and efficiently to Ministry Partner Advisors.
- Manages implementation of donor stewardship and reporting strategies.
- Support the planning and management of the ML Teams implementation of five or more annual fundraising campaigns in partnership with the ML Director.
- Supervise cultivation and stewardship efforts for newly acquired donors ML Rep Teams.
- Assists in the creation of comprehensive campaign messaging.
- Plan and lead motivational Mid-Level cohort meetings.
- Conduct regular Mid-Level Rep I and II staff 1:1’s and training.
- Assists in analyzing performance reports/financials and make appropriate adjustments.
- Steward a full ML Ministry Partner portfolio.
- Analyze performance reports/financials and make appropriate adjustments.
- Represent the Mid-Level team with excellence internally and externally.
- Participate in Navigators’ on-site learning and development events, Cultural Development and Diversity trainings, or other non-Navigator developmental events as appropriate.
- Participate in annual processes, such as the organizational Plan and Progress Review (PPR), Engagement Survey, Reaffirmation of the Navigators Code of Conduct, Calling-Core Values-Vision, Statement of Faith, Driver’s Authorization, and other releases as required.
- Submit time worked on a weekly basis through the Workday Time Tracking system.
- Submit expense reports, due the 15th of each month.
