PURPOSE OF POSITION :
The Materials Administrator is responsible for assisting the warehouse Team, both shipping and receiving, with administrative functions.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :

- Provides support to Material Control Attendants, Supply Chain Coordinator, and Production Planner.
- Initiates purchase orders and amendments for parts, services, and / or special tools.
- Interprets mechanical drawings.
- Identifies parts based on mechanical drawing.
- Prepares tags for parts going to the paint shop.
- Track parts going to and coming from the painting department.
- Maintains Shipping and Receiving paperwork.
