The Companion is responsible for providing caring companionship and conversation to the client.
A companion promotes the physical and emotional well-being of the client. A companion enables clients to maintain their accustomed lifestyle and independence, helping make life more productive and enjoyable.
Hourly Rate: $18.90
Knowledge and Skills
- Must possess a valid Driver’s License.
- Must possess High School Diploma or equivalent.
- NYS/CT certification in one of the following; PCA, HHA, MA, CNA
- Experience working in the capacity of companion preferred.
- Must display patience, tact, enthusiasm and a cheerful deposition.
- Must be able to relate information concerning a resident’s condition.
- Must posses the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
