The Pacific Clinic, the premier health and sports campus of the northwest, has an immediate need for a Full-Time Maintenance Technician to join our team!
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including but not limited to, repairing machinery, equipment, and systems
- Conduct inspections to identify and resolve issues in a timely manner
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient maintenance operations
- Respond to maintenance requests and prioritize tasks based on urgency
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment repairs
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment
- Perform daily walk-through inspections to find repairs needed that haven’t been addressed on a request form.
- Inform the Director of tasks completed, and projects yet to be completed.
- Keep the workshop clean and orderly.
- Place orders and track deliveries. Research parts. Other administrative duties as required.
- Snow removal, clearing sidewalks, applying ice melt - as needed.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment
- Proficient in reading and interpreting schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals
- Basic understanding of logic controllers and electrical systems
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in English
- Strong leadership abilities with the capacity to work independently or as part of a team
- Ability to fabricate parts or components as needed
- Experience using power and hand tools.
- Experience and good working knowledge in minor electrical, plumbing, and drywall repairs, including repainting repaired areas.
- Ability to communicate well with others.
- Some night or weekend callback work may be required in emergencies.
- Ability to follow directions.
- Ability to handle pool chemicals safely.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1 year experience in a maintenance-related position.
- Experience performing pool water chemistry tests.
- Knowledge of HVAC principles.
- Previous knowledge/experience of pool/spa maintenance.
- Small motor bearing and seal replacement.
- Good common sense and problem solving skills.
- Should possess a Certified Pool Operator Certificate. (CPO)
- CPR/First Aid training.
- Ability to physically bend, stoop, lift, squat, and assist with moving heavy objects weighing up to 50 pounds intermittently.
- Ability to stand, walk, and climb stairs
- Continuously throughout the shift.
- Basic swimming skills.

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
