Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Pickleball Assistant/Instructor to join our team. The Pickleball Assistant/Instructor supports the organization, set-up, and administration of pickleball events, clinics, tournaments, leagues, lessons, and daily operations.
Responsibilites:
- Book pickleball courts
- Pull DUPRs for registrants
- Rank registrants to determine which league is the right fit
- Notify registrants of which league they will be in
- Prepare league materials
- Invite registrants to DUPR digital club
- Facilitate league
- Introduce rules/format on first week
- Enter league scores into DUPR
- Seed teams into tournament for final week
- Run tournament
- Maintain and update sub list
- Assist with setup and take down
- Purchase/order items
- Coordinate with event partners
- Assisting with various tasks on day of event
- Book pickleball court(s)
- Manage pros availability to schedule lessons
- Respond to emails about rates, availability, etc.
- Answering the phone
- Answering emails
- Tidying the pickleball court area
- Work closely with Marketing Department
- Answering member questions
- Brainstorming ideas with Director
- Participating in open play with members
Qualifications:
- Knowledge/experience with customer service
- Must know the rules of pickleball
- Proficiency with Google Workspace
- Good time management
- Organizational Skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with DUPR app/website
- Experience with facilitating events
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $16.66 per hour
