JOB SUMMARY

The position is a trauma-responsive, hope-centered role responsible for supporting the vision of an integrated Therapeutic Services program. The position is responsible for conducting adult parenting group intakes, facilitating parenting groups, facilitating parent-child interactions/observations, and providing educational training and advocacy to promote the prevention of the recurrence of child abuse and neglect.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Facilitate adult protective parenting groups and individual parenting education sessions. This includes providing services 2-4 evenings* per week.
2. Facilitate adult parenting group client intake assessments (w/ multiple intake spots at varying days/times based on client needs).
3. Facilitate parent/family parenting education/support sessions as appropriate, utilizing best practice techniques and agency-approved therapeutic modalities from a trauma-responsive and infant/early childhood mental health-informed perspective.   
4. Maintain accurate client case records and complete documentation within 48 hours from the time of service to meet COA requirements and maintain established productivity standards for the position.
5. Assist with reviewing/entering Client Data Core (CDC) forms; administer, interpret & score assessments, and integrate results into case conceptualization and client feedback based on client presenting problems (ie. depression, anxiety, parenting stress, trauma, etc.)
6. Facilitate treatment and discharge planning for clients served ensuring that documentation is compliant with the client funding source. 
7. Prepare and submit court reports, for review/approval by the licensed therapist; respond to subpoenas to appear in court on client services provided. 
8. Assist with case management/care coordination tasks such as advocacy, linkage, and referrals to support client care as well as following up with DHS child welfare staff, client engagement/check-in calls, etc.
9. Utilize videotapes of client sessions and assessments for supervision and consultation within the agency and for educational purposes in training groups outside of the agency, in accordance with agency policies and procedures.  
10. Engage in ongoing professional learning opportunities such as formalized training, workshops/conferences, supervision, and self-study to facilitate professional growth and development, particularly in the areas of I/ECMH and trauma. 
11. Direct client services would be under the supervision of a licensed therapist. 
12. Assist with other duties assigned for the efficient operation of the agency or program. 

Requirements

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

1. Bachelor’s Degree in psychology, social work, or another related mental health field. 
2. Displays a basic working knowledge of family systems, trauma, and attachment theory and treatment strategies for both children and adults.
3. Required to work a minimum of 2-3 evenings per week.
4. Experience facilitating groups or training.
5. Commitment to professional growth/development 
6. Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, and get up and down from floor setting to engage in play therapy as needed. Ability to sit for extended time periods to complete computer work. 
7. Good computer skills (excel, word, google forms, zoom/telehealth); good organization and assessment skills; strong ability to utilize program technology in an efficient manner such as typing to enter client documentation in electronic health record within agency standards, entering assessment data, recording client sessions, etc.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

1. Oklahoma Association for Infant Mental Health Endorsement for Culturally Sensitive, Relationship-Based Practice Promoting Infant Mental Health, Infant Mental Health Specialist (IMH-E)
2. Specialized training /work experience related to trauma, child welfare, domestic violence, substance abuse and/or poverty.
3. Certified Oklahoma Case Manager
4. Bilingual Spanish speaking
5. Trained in Circle of Security (COS) & Nurturing Parenting groups

Salary : $39,000 - $49,400
