Social Services/Activities Director Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and oversee both social services and recreational programming to support the emotional, social, and psychological well-being of residents.
• Develop individualized care and activity plans tailored to each resident’s needs, preferences, and abilities.
• Provide support and advocacy for residents and families, assisting with care planning, community resources, and transitions.
• Plan and lead engaging group and one-on-one activities to promote participation, social interaction, and quality of life.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure a holistic and person-centered approach to resident care.

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Recreational Therapy, or a related field (preferred).
• Proven experience in a long-term care or nursing home environment.
• Knowledge of social service systems, as well as activity planning and coordination.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Compassionate and patient-focused approach.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
