What are the responsibilities and job description for the Physical Therapy Transporter position at The Pavilion at Queens for Rehabilitation & Nursing?

If you are reliable and compassionate, The Pavilion at Queens wants to meet you! The Pavilion at Queens is a 302-bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility located in Flushing, Queens. Our mission is to provide the highest level of care for each of our residents.

Currently, we are searching for a full-time Physical Therapy Transporter .

Responsibilities include, but not limited to :

Transporting patients from their room to the rehab gym.
Assisting patients or lifting patients into wheelchairs.
Offering support, encouragement, and solace to patients.
Ensuring patients are comfortable and safe during transit.
Performs all other duties as assigned by Supervisor and / or designee.
Maintain the highest level of customer service to our residents and visitors.

Requirements :

High school diploma or equivalent

Previous work experience in assisted living, long term care or hospital setting preferred

Patient, kind and helpful demeanor.

Comfortable working with elderly and / or sick population.
