The Pharmacy Hub, located in Miami Gardens, Florida, is a technology-driven compounding mail-order pharmacy specializing in efficient and prescription fulfillment for high-volume digital health clinicians. We are seeking a highly motivated production manager to be an integral part of our growing compounding and quality assurance team.
Job Summary:
As a Compounding Production Manager, you are responsible for overseeing all aspects of the compounding process to ensure seamless operations and compliance with regulatory standards. This includes managing the planning, coordination, and scheduling of daily compounding activities to optimize efficiency and minimize downtime. The role involves supervising production staff, providing clear direction and support, and ensuring adherence to established protocols, quality standards, and safety guidelines. Additionally, the manager monitors equipment performance, oversees inventory levels for raw materials and supplies, and ensures timely maintenance to prevent disruptions. They also collaborate with cross-functional teams, including quality assurance and supply chain, to address challenges, implement process improvements, and meet production targets while maintaining the highest levels of accuracy, consistency, and compliance with industry regulations.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Lead, manage, and develop the compounding production team, including pharmacists, technicians, and support staff.
- Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and implement training and development programs.
- Supervise the compounding process to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to formulations and protocols.
- Manage production schedules to meet patient needs and ensure timely delivery of compounded medications.
- Oversee the preparation of non-sterile compounds, ensuring compliance with USP <795> and <800> standards.
- Ensure all compounded medications meet quality and safety standards.
- Collaborate with Quality Assurance Team to maintain and update SOPs and ensure staff adherence.
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement strategies to enhance production efficiency and quality.
- Work closely with pharmacists and other technicians to ensure accurate and timely preparation of compounded medications.
- Participate in team meetings and provide input on improving compounding workflows.
- Foster a collaborative and positive work environment.
- Additional projects and responsibilities may be designated by the supervisor.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Fluent in English; bilingual proficiency in Spanish preferred.
- Flexible work schedule, including weekends.
- Strong numerical aptitude for accurate calculations.
- Proven ability to multitask effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in technology (MS Windows, MS Office applications, Google applications).
Additional Skills (Preferred):
- Familiarity with pharmacy software systems.
- Experience in a compounding pharmacy or healthcare environment.
- Florida Registered Pharmacy Technician License preferred.
- Knowledge of nonsterile compounding best practices.
- Proficiency in Quality Management Systems.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
