What are the responsibilities and job description for the Controller position at The Physicians Centre Hospital?
Under the supervision of the Chief Financial Officer, is responsible for assuring that clerical duties are accurately performed in completion of, but not limited to, the following areas: receiving invoices from vendors; matching invoices with receivers ensuring that facilities are not billed for goods not received; entering invoice information with accurate general ledger coding; maintaining files for all invoices and accompanying vendor information; reviewing incoming invoices to ensure that duplicates are excluded from payment; processing payments in a timely manner; interfacing with vendors as necessary. Preparing and completing financial reporting as delegated by CFO such as, month end close journal entries, account reconciliations, variance reporting, and bank statement reconciliation. In addition provides general office coordination for the CFO and CEO. Performs all other duties as assigned.
