The Pictsweet Company is growing! A 4th generation family owned company established in 1945, Pictsweet is a frozen vegetable producer with agricultural roots. We are recruiting a Night Operations Manager at Pictsweet's flagship manufacturing facility in Bells, TN. The Night Operations Manager will be responsible for the management of the Bells West Plant during the night shift.

Responsibilities
- Responsible for coordinating the activities of production, maintenance, warehousing and distribution for the night shift of the Bells West Plant to achieve financial and production goals
- Responsible for providing direction and support to departmental supervisors
- Indirect responsibility for all production and maintenance functions during the night shift
- Monitors budget performance and takes appropriate corrective actions, in coordination with departmental management
- Coordinates with Human Resources regarding staffing, safety, compensation, payroll, corrective actions and other issues as needed
- In cooperation with the Plant Manager and individual Department Managers, assists in the development of production goals
- Monitors, evaluates, and adjusts production activities as needed
- Serves on the Emergency Response Team
- Communicates effectively with Department Managers regarding night operations
- Maintains compliance with Safety/GMP programs, rules and standards
- Performs all other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college/university
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Must understand production scheduling, budgeting, personnel management, organizational development and systems management
- Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) helpful but not required
- Must be computer proficient with spreadsheets and word-processing
- 7 years management experience, at a department manager level or above
- Must reside within prescribed boundaries (immediate area of Bells, TN.) for plant management
