Growth Marketing Operations Manager
Location: Hybrid onsite schedule in Culver City, CA, or Austin, TX
Duration: 12 months; potential to extend
Pay: up to $86/hour, DOE (W2 and benefit options)
The Planet Group is looking for a Growth Marketing Operations Manager to join our well-known Fortune 500 client on a 12-month contract. This role will be 40 hours per week and is hybrid in Culver City, CA, or Austin, TX.
This position will work cross-functionally to develop and execute customer journeys for growth marketing acquisition and engagement initiatives. As the subject matter expert of customer journey orchestration, the ideal candidate can think strategically, execute flawlessly, and effectively collaborate in a matrix organization.
Growth Marketing Operations Manager Responsibilities:
- Work cross-functionally with various teams including marketing, product, and engineering to develop and launch multi-channel customer communications, ultimately driving awareness and engagement of services and products
- Develop, test, and deploy customer journeys. This involves assessing product and strategy objectives, platform capabilities and data needs
- Collaborate and communicate clearly and effectively with stakeholders given the complexities of global large-scale projects, ensuring that operational plans, deliverables and risks are properly addressed and aligned
- Monitor campaign performance for operational integrity, and identify and communicate issues to internal teams
- Identify key opportunities of improvement in campaign performance, operational efficiency and processes, and product tooling
- Build a knowledge portal of best practices and playbooks that serve as a reference and training resource
Growth Marketing Operations Manager Qualifications:
- 7-10 years years of lifecycle marketing experience building and launching acquisition and engagement initiatives
- Experience with hands on Journey Builder experience must be outlined within their resume.
- Experience with CRM or ESP platforms such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud/ExactTarget, Braze, Oracle Responsys
- High aptitude for logical reasoning and critical thinking. Experience in SQL preferred.
- Exhibit high attention to detail and organization to deliver quality projects in a timely manner
- Innovator who is proactive, thoughtful and resourceful with a willingness to tackle ambiguity and roadblocks
- Ability to react calmly to curveballs, come up with contingency plans, make judgment calls and pivot as needed under pressure in an evolving environment
- Team player mentality with strong consideration for impact on team members
- Effective communication skills in all mediums—from slack and email to presentations
