Pay Range: ~$53/hour W2
Duration: 6-Month Contract

The Planet Group is seeking a Senior Content Programming Manager to join a leading global lifestyle and technology brand on a contract basis. This position sits at the intersection of marketing, content strategy, and project management. You will drive the execution and alignment of editorial programming with marketing and communications initiatives, ensuring creative deliverables support high-visibility campaigns. Ideal candidates will have experience managing editorial processes, strong project coordination skills, and the ability to communicate effectively across a wide range of creative and marketing teams.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 6 years of professional experience working with audience growth, content strategy, and multichannel editorial platforms
- 3 years of experience shaping content for cross-functional and marketing-led campaigns
- Hands-on knowledge of project management tools like Asana
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a track record of cross-functional collaboration
- Analytical mindset with a focus on performance metrics and continuous improvement
- Ability to work autonomously, think strategically, and operate with a solution-oriented approach
- Comfortable attending meetings that may occur outside traditional work hours due to global team alignment
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in the editorial, publishing, or digital content industry
- Background in integrated marketing, content strategy, or creative project management
- Understanding of the Gen Z social ecosystem and social trends
- Multilingual or additional language proficiency a plus
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary facilitator between the programming and marketing teams to align timelines and campaign activations
- Manage logistics and planning for Programming & Originals (P O) efforts across multiple functions
- Collaborate with Creative Ops and Comms to curate and execute global trend boards and editorial deliverables
- Represent and support editorial and creative team needs in cross-functional planning and reviews
- Coordinate incoming creative requests from teams such as comms, marketing, and social—managing both urgent and long-term asks
- Support ERG initiatives and cultural programming that amplify diverse voices and increase engagement
- Analyze campaign performance and editorial impact to refine content strategies and optimize future campaigns
