What are the responsibilities and job description for the Administrative Assistant position at The Pride Group?
The Pride Group is a non-profit organization that assists adults with mental health disabilities. We are looking to add an administrative assistant to our team in Le Mars, Iowa.
The Administrative Assistants job is to provide support/clerical duties to the administrator as well as assisting. This position is also responsible for overseeing proper coordination of member reports and completing tasks as assigned.
Duties may include:
- Responds to members needs as needed
- Process and organize admission packets
- Coordinates issues invitations to meetings, types and processes reports,
- Processes quarterly reports
- Detailed orientated, will be responsible for working with social security for payments
- Knowledge of cash handling, balancing a cash drawer and checkbook reconciliation.
- Understands debits and credits.
- Order and keep stocked office or needed supplies
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of office.
- Order weekly food supply
TYPICAL QUALIFICATIONS/KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Desire to work with persons with mental illness is a must
- Exercise discretion and solid judgment.
- Time management skills.
- Detail-oriented and able to plan and carryout projects independently.
- Interpersonal and communication skills.
- Must be able to demonstrate exemplary professional behavior in all aspects of the position.
