Multimedia Intern

This position will assist agency cross functional teams in a range of production and video-editing projects. Specific duties include but are not limited to video editing, video production support, and graphics creation. This is a paid internship at $12 per hour and the start date will be in May of 2023.

The ideal candidate is outgoing, reliable, flexible, can think quickly on their feet, works well on a team, has a good work ethic, and works well under pressure. Any previous video experience and previous position where you had to move fast and talk to many people consistently is a plus but not required.

Essential Functions

● Media creation for THE rAVe Agency marketing efforts

● Graphic design within the context of production and other video projects

● Podcast and videocast assistance

● Production and editing of client video projects

● Support of CREATE, NOW, and LAVNCH video projects

● Event photography/videography

● Technical troubleshooting

● Equipment management assistance

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Graphic design experience with Adobe creative suite or Canva
• Video and motion graphic creation software
• Attention to detail
• Self-starter who can work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to work calmly and professionally under deadline and/or crisis communications
• People skills, both written and verbal
• Keen willingness to learn new concepts and skills

Minimum Qualifications

• Excellent oral and written communications skills
• Experience with Adobe Premiere Pro and Photoshop, basic photography and videography skills with a DSLR (camera, microphones, lighting)
• Understanding of video and audio equipment for both virtual and in-person events

Physical Demands

• Employee must be able to spend 8 hours per day operating a computer to complete work
• Employee must be able to lift and carry boxes and luggage up to 25 pounds
• Employee must be able to be on their feet 8 hours a day

Work Environment

This is a hybrid position where work will be performed at our office in Chapel Hill, NC up to 2 days per week. It is expected that you will work at least 10-15 hours a week.
