What are the responsibilities and job description for the Presentation Designer position at The Sage Group?
The Sage Group’s client, the market leader for Cloud Content Management is searching for a Presentation Designer. As a self-motivated, detail-oriented and versatile creative pro, you willbe joining a close-knit, cross disciplinary team and create presentation content for our client’s large scale event. You will help create and produce impactful, high quality presentations, consistent with our client’s design system and event look-and-feel. As part of the Brand & Communications team, you will collaborate with other designers, project stakeholders, managers and executives to ensure all presentation work effectively communicates in the most dynamic way possible, incorporating data, visuals,and clarity of storytelling.
You will:
- Understand the technical and creative constraints of a project, making pragmatic tradeoffs with stakeholders
- Expertly adapt creative brand assets and templates to design and produce new presentations, in either PowerPoint or Apple Keynote
- Interpret and present complicated concepts in a visually appealing and clear manner, integrating text, product imagery, diagrams, photography, iconography, and more.
- Elevate presentations with high quality design, infographics, animations and transitions that support key messages.
- Work independently and autonomously while within a team environment.
- Keep work meticulously organized, and diligently track feedback and approvals
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues independently, and resourcefully
- Proofread completed projects to ensure quality and accuracy.
- Ensure consistency with branding guidelines, templates, and assets.
- Coordinate the day-to-day production of each project to meet all deadlines.
- Clearly communicate status of projects, in a timely manner, anticipate and address possible delays or setbacks
- Collaborate with the larger creative team via regular design critiques and working sessions
- Exercise quality assurance and strong attention to detail
As a professional presentation designer, you have:
- 2 years of on-the-job experience working as a presentation designer
- Experience in the tech, IT or Saas industries
- Demonstrated experience creating slick keynote presentations for events
- Creative and technical expertise and versatility, can switch mediums on a dime
- An innate sense of urgency, eager to beat deadlines and keep projects moving
- A positive can-do attitude, and passion for the craft
Required Skills
- Proficient user of design software tools, including Adobe Creative Collection Apps, Figma,
- Expert user of Powerpoint, Keynote, Google slides
- Working knowledge of project collaboration applications (i.e. Asana)
- Rock solid typography and layout skill, across mediums
- Excel at making complex information interesting and easy to understand
- Evidence of excellent communication and collaboration
Location: Bay Area (ability to work onsite in SF as needed)
Duration: 2 Months (August – September ’25)
Compensation: $80 - $85/hr
