What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shipping and Warehouse Associate position at The Shipping Butler?
Shipping Butler has an immediate Full-Time position in our Shipping and Warehouse department servicing Los Angeles fashion and lifestyle brands.
We are offering 40 hours a week Monday-Friday from 8a-4:30p. The tasks range from inspecting (quality control) of apparel and / or handbags, preparing e-commerce orders, wrapping items in tissue paper, kitting items into orders, applying shipping services and materials required to pack and ship lightweight packages.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2-3 years of warehouse and pick pack experience
- Understands processes quickly and works towards KPIs
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Must be able to stand for the majority of the shift
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Temp-to-Hire
Responsibilities:
- Picking / Packing women's apparel / e-commerce goods using tissue paper
- Kitting: components, value-added services, repetitive tasks
- Inspecting: quality control on product before packing
- Packing: prepare the order and shipping boxes
- Shipping: attach shipping label already created
