What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shipping and Warehouse Associate position at The Shipping Butler?
Shipping Butler has an immediate full-time opening in our Shipping and Warehouse department, servicing Los Angeles fashion brands specializing in women’s apparel and handbags.
Schedule:
- Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm (40 hours/week guaranteed)
- Overtime and 1–2 Saturdays per month as needed based on order volume
Job Duties:
- Packing women’s handbags and apparel using tissue paper and brand-specific materials
- Kitting items and performing value-added
- Inspecting products for quality control prior to packing
- Preparing orders and packaging for shipment
- Applying shipping labels (labels provided)
- Maintaining accuracy and speed in a fast-paced fulfillment environment
Requirements:
- 2–3 years of warehouse pick/pack experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work efficiently toward productivity goals (KPIs)
- Reliable, punctual, and consistent attendance
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Ability to stand for most of the shift and perform repetitive tasks
- Ability to lift up to 20–30 lbs as needed
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
