Description
Job Summary: The role of Shuttle Driver is responsible for operating the company shuttle bus to transport workers from their apartment facilities to their work locations in a safe and reliable manner.
Job Responsibilities:

Drive vehicles in a safe, courteous, and reliable manner throughout the service area within a daily assigned time schedule

Perform pre/post trip vehicle inspections as required Stop at designated points to load and unload passengers
-
Assist in the boarding of passengers using wheelchairs or other mobility aids and properly secure wheelchairs and scooters
-
Notify department of deviations, overload, accidents, passenger incidents, medical/behavioral problems, or bus mechanical/electrical trouble
-
Complies with all applicable Federal, State, and Local regulations and requirements governing, including Department of Transportation

Keeps all areas of shuttle clean (including shuttle interior and windows)
-
Assure that riders are tracked for pickup and drop off each trip
-
Advise passengers of rules and regulations when necessary

Complete and submit written reports concerning passengers and all accidents
-
All other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
-
Sufficient education and literacy needed to identify and read product labels and to communicate effectively with guests

Ability to read, write, speak, and communicate in basic English
-
Must be at least 21 years of age

Possess a valid driver's license
-
Possess or have the ability to obtain a CDL with B P endorsements
-
Have at least 3 years of driving experience
-
1 year of work experience providing passenger transportation is preferred (not required)
