This role is for someone who enjoys leading from the floor and creating a smooth, welcoming experience for every guest. You’ll guide the FOH team, keep service on track, solve problems quickly, and help maintain the warm, polished feel that makes Stilt House a local favorite. With a focus on steady operations, team development, and guest satisfaction, this position offers a chance to have a real impact on the restaurant’s daily rhythm.
What You’ll Do
- Oversee daily front-of-house operations, including servers, bartenders, hosts, and support staff.
- Lead pre-shift meetings, communicate specials, and set expectations for service.
- Maintain high service standards by coaching staff and modeling guest-first behavior.
- Manage floor flow, guest seating, and staffing adjustments during busy shifts.
- Handle guest concerns calmly and professionally, resolving issues on the spot.
- Help with interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and ongoing staff development.
- Monitor checkouts, comp/void reports, and basic cash handling procedures.
- Coordinate with the kitchen to keep communication smooth and service running efficiently.
- Assist with scheduling and labor control based on forecasted business needs.
- Support bar and service training, including menu knowledge, beer/wine familiarity, and service steps.
- Work with leadership on improving systems, service consistency, and overall guest experience.
What We're Looking For
