Position: Teacher - Adapted Physical Education (APE)
Pay: $60,000 - $63,000/year
Location: Getzville, NY
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 3:30 PM, 37.5 hrs./week

Your Impact as a Teacher - Adaptive Physical Education
Provide physical education services for students with developmental disabilities.
- Deliver APE services
- Collaborate and effectively communicate with classroom staff
- Organize an effective classroom environment
- Assess student progress on a regular basis and collect data
- Administer appropriate and effective instructional strategies
- Manage behavioral challenges
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Bachelor or Masters Degree in Physical Education. Experience with special needs population is preferred.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: New York State Certification as a Physical Education Teacher
