Molecular Genomic Specialist - HTGC
The High Throughput Genomics Core (HTGC) is hiring a full-time Molecular Genomic Specialist to join their team in Pittsburgh, PA! This position is daylight weekdays. HTGC is a high-throughput, industrial-scale sequencing center located in Pittsburgh, PA. We are one of the few sequencing centers that is both CAP accredited and CLIA certified, speaking to the highest quality laboratory standards. The ideal candidate has prior experience in clinical molecular testing or next generation sequencing. In this position, you will train in all areas of the laboratory performing high-complexity clinical testing.
Manages day-to-day laboratory operations while ensuring compliance with safety regulations and best practices. Works with, adapts, and installs scientific equipment in research laboratories. Collaborates on routine projects and procedures. Manages inventory and equipment and performs budget functions.

- Reading small print on tubes, cryovials, and labels.
