SUMMARY Overview of the position
Responsible for preparing and organizing all shipments form the warehouse.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The following statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by an individual assigned to this job. Other duties may be assigned.
- Printing Orders for Core release and reorder UDC products.
- Assigning ship dates to ensure synchronized release dates for core products.
- Create spreadsheet for 3rd party shipping partners based on the Assigned ship dates.
- Expedite / follow up on Core release shipments to determine transit delays.
- Facilitate special requests from the Sales service team including PRA’s and expedited shipping.
- Complete Credit order processing weekly.
- Coordinate pick up of returns from 3rd party Vendors.
- Print Daily reports.
- Creating Commercial invoices for all Canadian orders.
- Get Freight Quotes when needed for customer service or Sales support.
INTERACTION
This position will interact closely with the VP of Operations, Warehouse Manager, UDA Production Coordinator, Warehouse Clerk, Sales Support Team, and Operations manager.

EDUCATION/YEARS EXPERIENCE
- College Degree or equivalent experience.
- 5 years’ experience in the field Shipping, Logistics, Customer service or Scheduling.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Basic knowledge of commonly used shipping/receiving industry concepts, practices and procedures
- Competent oral and written communications skills in English.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple, high priority projects with a keen attention to detail.
- Professional demeanor; team player orientation.
- Hands on, energetic and motivated self-starter. Following up with Carriers and sales team daily
- Proficiency in the following software or systems: MS Office, Primarily Excel focused – must be highly proficient to be successful in this role.
- JDE or inventory control software experience required.
- Ability to handle, pack and transfer sensitive materials.
- Able to work in a fast paced environment
- Able to adjust to change and still be able to hit deadlines
- Fork lift experience a plus
- Able to lift 25 to 50 pounds
- Prior lead or supervisory experience is a plus.
