Cloud Engineer, Specialist

Job Description: Design, implement, and deploy cloud platforms to support and meet business needs; identify and recommend opportunities for improvement and performance issue solutions; provide intermediate level technical support and monitor multiple cloud technology platforms efficiency through the use of monitoring tools and applications; maintain comprehensive technical knowledge of cloud software and infrastructure platforms; develop technical standards; test and evaluate IT vendor products; review configuration parameters to optimize system performance and maximize operation uptime; train and mentor staff and IT project teams, providing guidance and consultation as required; update, write, and maintain documentation for department; administer systems by actively managing patching, routine maintenance and backups to include the scheduling and execution of related tasks; evaluate system performance and capacity in a large, distributed infrastructure environment; identify opportunities to improve system and application performance, including automating manual system tasks; provide Tier 3 level technical support for Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) platforms. Requirements: Requires Bachelor's in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or closely related IT field and five years of experience in job offered or in IT position(s) including Senior Software Developer and/or I.T. Analyst and/or Software Developer. Background in education, training or experience must include Java/J2EE, Spring, Webservices SOAP and REST, Tomcat, AWS Infrastructure, CI/CD Tools, Jenkins, Crucible, Junit/Cucumber, Unix/Linux, SQL/Oracle, Jira.
