Section 2 – Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Operation of Guest Services and Owner Relations while following Standard Operating Procedures
- Maintain high level of professionalism
- Switchboard operations. Answering questions and transferring calls to appropriate individuals or departments.
- Have a working knowledge of Customer Service, Timeshare and Owner Services
- Have a professional relationship with other departments, Vacation Resorts International and other partners
- Knowledge of Timeshare Ownerships and Reservation types
- Complete tasks assigned by management
- Communicate with coworkers effectively
- Review Arrivals Report and make every effort to honor guest requests
- Complete Owner Confirmation Calls and correspond with owners via phone, fax, email or mail
- Maintain files as needed
- Be familiar with local attractions to offer concierge services
Section 3 – Skills Required:
- Strong verbal and written communications skills.
- Attention to detail and the ability to multi-task.
- Strong Customer Service skills
- Ability to confidently make decisions while being able to prioritize
- Must be flexible where schedule is concerned
- Must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time
Section 4 – Education / Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years Customer Service experience
- Previous experience in Hospitality and Timeshare Industry is preferred
- High School diploma or equivalent
Section 5 – Expected Conduct
- Maintain professional behavior at all times
- Be knowledgeable of, practice and reinforce good business practices relating to harassment, discrimination and hostile environments in the workplace
- Remain aware and compliant with company policies and government regulations in regards to employment practices as communicated by Standard Operating Procedures and VOLM Handbook
- Remain calm during stressful and hectic periods
- Follow work schedule, arriving and departing on time and being flexible if resort needs change. Also, make arrangements if unable to be present for work
- Make arrangements for job duties to be fulfilled during periods when you will not be present
- Always present a positive attitude towards guests and fellow co-workers
