Part Time position: Weekdays between 8AM and 5PM, flexible on days of the week; no evenings or weekends
Pay Range $21-$25/hour based on experience
Position Summary & Primary Responsibilities
The Sales Coordinator is responsible for supporting community occupancy goals in collaboration with the Senior Living Consultant, under the direction of the Executive Director. This position is charged with promoting The Waters to create a positive image in the organization and among the community, referrals, potential residents and their families. The job requires a dynamic sales person to provide exceptional customer service, courtesy and respect in handling the following responsibilities:
- Providing Eldermark support by nurturing older leads/wait list management and/or providing additional support for daily communication and neglected leads or prospects
- Coordinating documents and completion of lease signings
- Making sales, reservation, and lease packets and timely ordering of collateral for packets
- Supporting the internal move process by providing communications with families, tour available apartments, coordinate with the Director of Health and Wellbeing, coordinate move logistics and provide welcome to the new setting within the community
- Managing community Facebook page by posting availability, creating fun content
- Auditing weekly on turns, rounding vacant apartments, ensuring that the community remains tour ready with favorable first impressions
- Model a service attitude towards others, take ownership in solving problems and take the initiative to make things better, be friendly and courteous to residents and team members
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in communications, marketing, business, or related field preferred
- Proven track record of successful sales experience preferred
- Minimum three (3) years successful marketing and sales experience in a senior living community preferred
- Candidates should be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and have experience using CRM programs
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Knowledge of marketing concepts with senior adults and an understanding of retirement community lifestyle
- Expertise in "relationship selling" and a demonstrated ability to close
- Ability to build effective networking relationships
- Ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously
- Possess written and verbal skills for effective communication and the ability to facilitate small group presentationsProficient in computer skills, Microsoft Office (Windows, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) with the ability to learn new applications
