What are the responsibilities and job description for the Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner position at The Wellness Collective?
We are seeking a dedicated Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to join our team at The Wellness Collective in Sioux Falls, SD. In this role, you will provide comprehensive psychiatric care to our patients, including conducting assessments, diagnosing mental health conditions, developing treatment plans, and monitoring progress over time. You will work closely with our team of therapists, medical providers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure that our patients receive the highest quality of care.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in psychiatry, with experience working with patients of all ages who may be experiencing a wide range of mental health issues.
Position:
If you are new to the field, and do not have a caseload, that's okay! We value the work you do. There will be calls from new clients seeking evaluation and medication management, as well as internal recommendations to you (when indicated), though it can take time to build a caseload. You will be considered part-time when you begin averaging 15-23 client hours/week. You will be considered full-time when you average seeing 24 or more clients/week.
